After 39 fantastic months providing daily news nuggets on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Hasbro, Mattel, DC Direct, LEGO and more, I regret to inform everyone that this will be the last news post here at Han's Hideout. It has been a wonderful ride, but a number of personal factors have recently conspired to bring an end to this toy and collectibles fansite.

Let me take this moment to offer a hearty Thank You to all those who have read and supported Han's Hideout throughout the past 3+ years! I hope you enjoyed the time you spent here.

2011 Hasbro Star Wars Fans' Choice Poll

Once again, Hasbro has asked the collecting community to help decide the next Hasbro Star Wars Fans' Choice figure! Hasbro will collect top ten lists from each participating Star Wars Fan Site and combine the results, which will then generate a final ballot of 20 choices. These Top Twenty vote getters will be announced in October by Star Wars Insider, who will conduct the second phase of voting on their website.

To participate in the 2011 Han's Hideout Star Wars Fans' Choice Poll, all you have to do is send us an e-mail with your top ten most wanted 3.75" Hasbro Star Wars figures. Please place "Hasbro Fan Choice 2011" in the subject line so that your e-mail gets through the filters. E-mails will be accepted through 11:59pm CDT on Sunday, September 25th.

Please note: any characters selected from the current STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS animated series would be done in a realistic style. The winning character from the Star Wars Insider phase of voting will be announced at Hasbro's 2012 Collector-Fan Media Day event at Toy Fair in New York in February 2012.
